International Woman's Day 2021
It’s International Women’s Day, and so today - and every other day! - we celebrate the awesome women who like their coffee strong and their ladies even stronger.
We’re so proud to be part of the Bristol community, as well as the wider coffee community, as a female-led business.
We’ve chosen to use this occasion to put our hessian coffee sacks on sale in order to donate all of the proceeds to “Many Minds” - a female-led, Bristol-based charity that focuses on mental health - a subject that is more important than ever this year. “Many Minds” work with individuals to help improve confidence & self-esteem through creative workshops and training - not only something that is so vital for young girls, but for all teenagers.
It was really important to us to find an opportunity to support a charity that’s close to our hearts - as well as finding a sustainable way that we can support them all year around, not just for International Woman’s Day. We’ve given hessian sacks away to our regulars for free in the past for all sorts of crafts; from cat-scratching posts, to upcycling furniture, they come in really handy and look great! So we like to think that this small contribution towards them is worth it for such a fantastic cause.
