Our passion for coffee stems so much further than coffee itself.

To us, the ritual of making and drinking coffee can be one of those things that makes a day just a little bit better.

It’s a sensory thing, like listening to your favourite music.

When savoured, the first sip can be a moment of joy. We name all of our house blends after our favourite songs, simply to remind ourselves of this belief. We hope, as you take time to prepare and enjoy your coffee, that we can share that moment of joy with you too.

Starting with responsibly sourced, top quality beans, we hand roast in small quantities to ensure that every batch is roasted to the highest standard. Relying on our senses of sight, taste, and smell, we consider our method to be as much an art form as it is a science.

…You know, a sensory thing.

We believe that coffee is about the connections that you make when you share a brew together, and the community that you can find yourself a part of when you serve it. Bringing people together and spreading a little bit of joy is why we do what we do - and if you happen to enjoy the cuppa as well, then that’s just a bonus in our eyes.

Our small team has been roasting together since 2018. We began on our beloved 5kg roaster “Ozzy” in an old stable block on the outskirts of Bristol. Since then, we’ve moved to the historic district of St Philips Marsh in central Bristol with Ozzy in tow.

A small fire back in August 2022 meant the installation of a new roaster, “Ozzy II” and with the setbacks that followed from this unfortunate event, we decided to take a brief hiatus from being customer facing in September 2023. We’ve now reopened to the public again (May 2024), and once again our roastery and shop has become a small hub enjoyed by coffee enthusiasts and newbies alike. It’s the perfect place for our coffee to begin its journey and to showcase some of the finest flavours from around the world.
